Monday 24th June – Day 6
Task 6 (taylor st baristas) – got to work, printed out the presentation document in preparation for the 11am meeting at the café, then did a quick costing estimation, took measurements from model to ascertain quantities and researched suppliers to find prices.
Task 7 (taylor st baristas) – business meeting with clients at Taylor st baristas bank branch (free drinks!), discussed our ideas and talked through the layout, received verbal feedback and made notes of client’s suggestions for the design development.
Task 8 (restaurant and bar design awards) – introduced to new project, design a box space to accommodate 12m of kitchen worktop with space to facilitate four teams of two chefs for catering for the event, discussed ideas with Nick and ascertained what he wants to get from the project. Began creating some basic sketch/massing models on Sketchup.
