Building Information Modeling (BIM) Project

In this Technology project, we developed our designs for the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust community centre (initial design), (detailed design) even further. We took the detailed 3D CAD model in Vectorworks and using standard and some custom components, assigned IFC data to it. This allowed us to create material and quantity schedules. The project was very interesting and useful, giving us a hands-on insight into why BIM is so important in the construction industry.
